Driving Directions

From Wilmington, Delaware (95 South):

  • Take 95 South toward Route 1 South via exit number 4A toward Christiana/Mall Road
  • Follow Route 1 South to the Delaware Shore Points
  • The Sleep Inn & Suites is located on Route 1 in Lewes, DE, just three miles north of Rehoboth Beach

From the Bay Bridge (Route 50 East):

  • Take Route 50 East to the Bay Bridge
  • Once you get across the Bay Bridge, follow Route 50 East as it splits off from Route 301, towards Ocean City
  • After about 20 miles, turn left onto Route 404
  • After about 45 miles, merge right onto Route 1
  • The Sleep Inn & Suites is located on the Route 1 in Lewes, DE, just three miles north of Rehoboth Beach

Area Attractions

Lots of outdoor activities and sports are available within a few miles of Sleep Inn & Suites Lewes. Nearby Delaware beaches and ocean beckon you to deep-sea fish, parasail, boat, or windsurf. Plan a charter fishing trip while you’re here or just relax or take a walk on the boardwalk at lovely Rehoboth Beach, “the nation’s summer capital”. 

At Dewey Beach, DE rent jet skis or a boat for the day, then return to the beach where the nightlife stays up all night long.

There is a nearby jogging trail where you can keep up your routine or take a hike and enjoy your natural surroundings. Explore the area along the boardwalk on a rental bike or head over to one of three golf courses, including Baywood Greens, Rookery, and Heritage Golf Course, for a new challenge.

You can schedule a tennis match at a nearby court or take a yoga class. The kids will have fun seeing the latest movie at local centers.

Sleep Inn Lewes

Plan to spend the day at Midway Speedway Park where you can ride go-karts, play miniature golf, relax on the lazy river, and get wet at the water park.

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry takes pedestrians and cars across the Delaware Bay from Lewes to Cape May, New Jersey. Visit the County Park and Zoo and Bird Observatory. Walk along the beautiful beaches and enjoy fine dining and shops on the boardwalk in Cape May.

For bargains galore, you won’t want to skip the Tanger Outlet Center with more than 130 name brand stores.

Located along Route 1 in Rehoboth, shop tax-free at your favorite stores such as Aeropostale, Nike, QVC, Polo, Calvin Klein, Carter’s, and Tommy Hilfiger. Bring an extra suitcase…or buy one here!
